Add Statcounter in wordpress

Statcounter is famous web tracker service. It gives you much details information about your web site visitors, keyword analysis, search engine analysis and many more. All you need to do is create a free account at statcounter.com and get code for your website. Now add those code in your wordpress blog, and you are ready to use statcounter.

There are two methods to add statcounter in your website. First method is to add statcounter code in your wordpress theme file, and second method is use of statcounter plugin for wordpress.

1. Insert statcounter code in theme:
Login in wordpress admin panel from url www.yoursite.com/wp-admin
Now Navigate to:
Design – > Theme Editor – > Footer.php

And add your statcounter code at bottom of the page. But remember, if you changed your wordpress blog theme, you need to repeat this process.

2. Using statcounter Pluging:
If you don’t want to take tension of editing theme file, and updating the code each time you change the theme, than use this plugin. Official StatCounter Plugin
