Installation Of CMS

Installation of any CMS is very easy. If your webhosting comes with fantastico, than you can install all popular free CMS by just few clicks and only in 2 minutes. Most hosting these days have fantastico. If your webhostingis powered with fantastico, than login in control panel of your webhosting, navigate to fantastico, now choose your CMS from left menu. Click on “New installation” and follow the instruction like enter administrator username, password, e-mail address etc. Once you complete all the steps, your CMS is installed and ready for use.

Now if your web hosting dont’t have fantastico. Read the manual installation procedure from respective website. The general procedure for manual installation any CMS are follows:
1) Download the latest version of CMS from the official website of that CMS.
2) Upload the files in the directory where you want to install the CMS.
3) Create a database username and password from web hosting control panel. Assign all rights to that username for that databse.
4) Open web browser, and open the installation url. Generally the installation url is:

http://www.yourwebsite.com/install.php

5) Follow the instruction, and when asked enter database username, password etc.
6) Complete the installation procedure, and your CMS is ready for use.
